A classical music celebrity returns to Lithuania – virtuoso pianist and composer Fazıl Say, who has captivated the classical stage with his extraordinary talent for improvisation. Called a “genius” by Le Figaro, he performs in the most prestigious concert halls and festivals worldwide, including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Frankfurt’s Alte Oper, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, among others.
Fazıl Say masterfully embraces a wide repertoire, from J. S. Bach and the Viennese classics to Romanticism and contemporary works, including his own compositions. In Vilnius, the artist will perform his latest Piano Concerto “Mother Earth”, accompanied by the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Modestas Pitrėnas.
Fazıl Say’s concert will take place on October 30 at the newly opened LVSO Concert Hall.
