CONCERT PROGRAMME
Program includes works by Lithuanian and foreign composers.
On this winter afternoon, the students of the Vilnius Karoliniškės Music School will colour with most beautiful musical shades. Different soloists, choirs, instrumentalists, ensembles and orchestras will create a multicoloured musical stained glass in the traditional concert, showcasing many works by various Lithuanian and foreign composers. From accordions to big bands, from wind instruments to folklore – these talented young people will create a great mood for music and will definitely not let you freeze!
Few know that the Karoliniškės Music School, which has been operating for more than four decades, is one of the largest music schools in the country. More than 1100 students learn to play the piano, strings, wind instruments, percussion, folk instruments and accordion. Karoliniškės Music School also teaches choral and solo singing, solfeggio, music history and composition. School staff actively participates in various festivals and Lithuanian song festivals.
