The most beautiful arias from operas written by G. Puccini, G. Verdi, F. Lehár, J. Massenet, I. Kálmán and others
On the occasion of the Day of Love, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra led by its artistic director and chief conductor maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, arrives in Birštonas. Together with one of the most outstanding opera soloists of the young generation, soprano Kamile Bonté and tenor Karolis Kašiuba, the orchestra will present to the audience a program of the most beautiful arias from operas written by G. Puccini, G. Verdi, F. Lehár, J. Massenet, I. Kálmán and others.
Rising opera star, bright and exceptional soloist Kamilė Bonté decided to choose the path of a singer at the age of fifteen – she entered the Juozas Gruodis Conservatory in Kaunas, majoring in singing. In 2018 the soprano graduated from the Music Academy of the Kaunas’ Vytautas Magnus University (prof. Vladimir Prudnikovas’ class), and in 2020 received her diploma from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. K. Bonté attracted international attention in 2019 with her breathtakingly beautiful timbre and extraordinary vocal power when she took part in the 11 th Klaudias Taev competition and won the third place. In 2022 at the Soloists of the Year awards organized by the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, K. Bonté became the "Opera Hope of the Year";. Currently, the voice of the soloist is mostly heard on the operatic stages of Austria.
Tonight, the soloist's partner on stage is tenor Karolis Kašiuba, who is promised extremely great prospects. In 2015 the tenor graduated from Juozas Gruodis Conservatory in Kaunas. In 2022 he obtained a master's degree at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (prof. Irena Milkevičiūtė's class). Since 2021 K. Kašiuba has been working as an intern at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and has already prepared roles in such operas as G. Verdi's "Traviata", G. Puccini's "La Boheme", R. Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier", P. Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin", W. A. Mozart's “The Magic Flute”, etc. The soloist has also performed with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic’s chamber ensemble "Musica Humana", etc. On this evening, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra shall be conducted by its founder, artistic director and chief conductor, National Prize laureate maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius.
