On the second day of Christmas, the charismatic opera soloist Ieva Prudnikovaitė, the temperamental rocker Jeronimas Milius and the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, will invite you to an evening full of festive atmosphere and high-quality music.

Ieva Prudnikovaitė does not hide the fact that she is always waiting for concerts with J. Milius and the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. “Singing under the direction of maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius is an exceptional pleasure. When I work, I adore quality, accuracy, and a general sense of music. And Jeronimas is a very special person in general,” – the singer has said. Although I. Prudnikovaitė's main professional activity is currently taking her to  various opera productions abroad, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra still remains the main collaborator of the soloist's concerts in Lithuania. Graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, I. Prudnikovaitė became the winner of the International Singers' Competition in Cologne (Germany) in 2006. Since 2008 I. Prudnikovaitė has been a soloist with the Aalto Opera House in Essen (Germany). One of the most prominent roles created by the singer is Carmen in G. Bizet opera “Carmen” (2009), for which I. Prudnikovaitė won the “Operos Švyturiai” award as the opera soloist of the year.

I. Prudnikovaitė's partner on this evening's festive stage is the owner of truly exclusive voice Jeronimas Milius, one of the most prominent musical theatre performers in Lithuania, who has created principal roles in L. Vilkončius' rock opera “Eglė”, musicals “Legend of Sigismund Augustus and Barbora Radvilaitė”, “The Count of Monte Cristo”, “Carmen”, and many others. J. Milius says that performing with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra is always a special experience: “After all, these are several dozen professionals who sacrifice their solo ambitions for the sake of the overall result. They complement each other, breathe in one rhythm to form a powerful whole, to create a cohesive organism that speaks to the listener”, – J. Milius is convinced.
