A small troupe of actors who call themselves Teatriukas (A Little Theatre) have an interesting project of lullabies from all over the world in Lithuanian. Back in 2007 and 2008 the actors released two CDs of Lithuanian lullabies and classical lullabies, “Lietuvių lopšinės” and “Klasikinės lopšinės”. However they did not stop at that. Collaborating with institutions of various countries (Norwegian Folk Music Centre, Oslo University and others) and musicians the actors collected popular lullabies from eighteen different countries. The composer Indrė Stakvilė arranged them, keeping their national character. The actors together with the musicians will introduce the songs which mothers all over the world sing to their children before bedtime.
